Description of activity
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Vaasa, with extensive experience in international projects. During my doctoral studies, I was honored to hold one of 15 competitive PhD positions funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action "Global Mobility of Employees" (GLOMO), part of the Horizon 2020 program. I have published in well-known academic journals like Human Resource Management Review, International Business Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and Gender, Work & Organization. Additionally, I significantly contributed to the University of Vaasa's role in the European University for Customized Education (EUNICE) project, funded by the European Union (H2020). My involvement was crucial in designing international business courses for a global audience, employing diverse teaching methodologies such as MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and flipped classrooms. Leveraging my practical experiences in multinational corporations like Anheuser-Busch InBev and Lanxess, and my background of working and living in four different countries, my research is driven by a passion for understanding the impact of global mobility on individuals' career trajectories.
