Description of research and teaching:

I research the energy transition from a demand-side flexibility perspective. Demand-side flexibility is among the most promising tools for increasing the share of renewable sources in our energy mix. My specialization is in platform development, ecosystem engagement, and developing business models around demand-side flexibility. I also study consumer engagement within energy markets and communities. Specifically, I study citizen-driven energy communities and analyze electricity retailer business model innovation.
